Welcome to Tranquility Ballet, a studio born out of my passion to keep communities active and vibrant.
I have dedicated my life to movement and entertainment, engaging communities through various forms of performance, including musical theatre, jazz, tap, and my beloved ballet.
In 2018, I founded Tranquility Ballet, fueled by my passion for dance, yoga, and holistic wellbeing.
It was small beginnings, with my Village Rothwell dancers, the pioneers! I continue to offer, Seated Movement, Balance classes and Seniors Ballet there. Prior to that, I facilitated a vibrant tap dancing community for some 15 years at Northgate and Chermside in Brisbane, engaging in both classes and performances at the Burnie Brae, Senior's Community.
My dance journey began at the age of three in Canberra, where I completed BBO, BAL and NDA Examinations, under the guidance of Vera Lacey and May and Dianne Morrow. Alongside my love for the stage, I studied at the Kimberley Modelling Academy and engaged in catwalk and commercial work, along with numerous performances with the Canberra Philharmonic Society. My journey has taken me from Canberra to Melbourne and then Brisbane, where I became a licensed provider of the QLD Ballet for Seniors and Petite children's programs, CSTD dip (T) and a proud member of the Royal Academy of Dance and Moreton Bay Dementia Alliance.
I have been called upon to speak about the benefits of dance and movement for the Moreton Dementia Alliance and in addition, I remain a resident children's ballet, tap and conditioning coach for various Brisbane studios.
I am a Yoga Alliance certified yoga and meditation teacher, studying with Bodsphere India and a Holistic Coach IMTTA. I have also undertaken National Commercials for Suncorp with Sass Management, as well as numerous roles with the Brisbane Entertainment Store and performances to bring joy to the community at Hartley House in Canberra and various Respite and Retirement Centres throughout Brisbane. From time to time, I facilitate dance and wellbeing retreats, as well as ballet and yoga into brunch events. I am also the creator of Journaling to Flourish, a journaling workshop specifically designed to assist attendees in taking an holistic look at their lives allowing for creative strategies to move forward.
In 2025, I was nominated for the City of Moreton Bay's Australia Day Awards, an incredible honour given by the Office of the Mayor Cr Peter Flannery. I am a preferred provider for the Moreton Bay Council's Healthy and Active Programs, providing weekly classes to enhance movement and wellbeing within the community.
I hope you find something that you would like to do within my classes, or reach out if you would like me to facilitate a program for you or create a program specific to your needs.
